When planning your child's day, I will try to plan activities to help your child in all the developmental areas listed below.
* Cognitive development: children will learn to recognize objects, people, self, problem solving skills, language, communication skills
* Emotional development: children will learn to express feelings, concepts of self, self control and a positive self image
* Social development: children will learn to cooperate with friends, respect others and materials
*Physical development: children will learn to participate in group games, move to music, play outside, learn parts of the body, work as a team, and how to play safely with friends and equipment
*Small Muscle skills: children will learn to use crayons, chalk, paint, clay, scissors and glue
*Literacy in children is being able to communicate and understand the world around us. Children will develop literacy through talking, reading, sharing ideas and learning new things.
*Reading readiness: children will learn to write their name, know parts of a book, learn how to handle books, learn some letters
*Math: children will learn shapes, group like items, count out loud, count toys, friends and food
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 except on holidays (I will provide a list each year)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Snack at no extra charge
Ages: 6 weeks-5 years

My philosophy is that children should be allowed to grow at their own pace. This will allow them to become confident in themselves as learners. I treat each child as an individual and nurture and encourage them in ways that suit them the best.

l will provide a safe environment for your child to learn and grow. Your child's day will be spent reading, singing, playing outside and expressing their creative ideas through art in a cheerful, clean and loving environment.
