Welcome to Austin's Imagination Station I am a private preschool offering innovative, educational childcare for children three months to five years. As a Nationally Accredited childcare home I have a smaller group size, and more individual attention. Smaller groups offer a healthier environment with less exposure to illness. A home environment where children can play in a familiar surroundings. I offer a curriculum that provides the right foundation to build active minds, healthy bodies and happy children. I use the Pflugerville ISD pre k-kindergarten curriculum as a guide in preparation for my lessons. I provide years of experience by a consistent caregiver.
SAFETY
A licensed childcare home is a daycare home who is inspected by Department Of Family and Protectives Services. Research has shown that caregivers who are better trained are better able to prevent, recognize, and correct health and safety problems. I opened my registered childcare home in 1988, then became licensed in 2001. During this time I have received training and experience in the following areas: safety, CPR, First Aid, child growth and development, children's health, special needs, nutrition, physical activity, preventing the spread of communicable disease, sids, shaken baby, planning developmental appropriate activities, curriculum for children, understanding early childhood brain development, guidance, discipline, teacher-child interaction, attachment and responsive caregiving. Through all the years of training I have earned a Child Development Associate Credential.

PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is that children should be allowed to grow at their own pace. This will allow them to become confident in themselves as learners. I recognize that all children go through the same stages of growth and development, on an individual time schedule. I work closely with each family, striving to meet each families specific and unique needs. I provide education and positive support for children and their parents. I provide the best possible environment for your children at my home.
